South India Travel Packages

.......Got home almost a week ago with a stinker of a cold so have been laid low. Worst one I have had. I am not sure whether to blame Qantas or India but at least it was not some rare tummy bug! Just a note, to thank you very much. We had the best possible time thanks ..............



.......I wanted to thank you for another very nice trip. We realize that MP is not as prepared for tourists as Rajasthan. The lack of a steady flow of electricity is more of an irritation than a real problem. I think my favorite place was in Mandu where the electricity was off more than it was on. We liked the accomodations. They were very basic but the atmosphere made for a very enjoyable stay. They were able to provide sealed bottles of water for us even though we saw other bottles being refilled and placed side by side with the ones we purchased. While we were in Gwalior the state fair was taking place and we were able to attend. What a lot of fun that was. ..............



.......Just thought I'd drop you a line regarding feedback on our tour which was largely great. Both my sister and I enjoyed ourselves, so thank you for helpong make it a good first experience of India for her. If you want feedback on areas that might help improve things even further in the future, here are some ideas ..............



.......After a week of non-stop working (7-7!) I finally have time to do some other things. My desk looks quite clean now. The feed-back I got from the core of my group (i.e. David, Peter Leresche, Peter Holland, Kurt Köhl, Helga, Beverly) was very positive. The two difficult ladies didn't even bother to write!!! Four of the group stayed behind for an extra day of serious shopping, SWISS was overbooked and offered them EUR 600.00 plus accomodation in a 5* Hotel. They had a wonderful time!!! ..............



....... I wish we were still planning our trip!! I feel sad that it's now all in the past. I cannot believe it is over!! But, all good things come to an end!! What matters most is that everything went so well and we now have so many happy, colourful memories..............



........Initially I had a fear about booking tour on Internet. Now the experiance with compasstours has changed this feeling totally. For next vacation I have decided to plan with you.............




........Hyderabad was really great - seeing our friends and a city that is quite modern. Although it was definitely the end of our holiday journey, it was a great chance to spend time with a real Indian family. They fed us way too much food though, but excellent south Indian cooking............





............. Our stay in Kochi was fine, and we ended up having the best meal of our trip on the terrace of Brunton Boatyard on a sunny afternoon.........





........The evening that we spent in Munnar was a little wasted, the views on the drive were spectacular but the hotel itself wasn't particularly good, was in a bad location and we had to travel a distance to have dinner. Positive comments: - (of which there are many!) Being greeted at the airport and being looked after by Mr. Nathan all the way down to Trivandrum was wonderful, we were very tired after the journey and we felt that with Mr. Nathan there we were in safe hands.............




.............The place I loved best has to be Kerala; I would like to arrange trips to Kerala to discover Cochin and the rest of that region later on. Tell Nathan good luck for his impending marriage. The way he was describing it, he was not looking forward to it! Poor guy! My husband loved Agra's Taj Mahal and the Keralan boat cruise..........




............The choice of hotels and the locations we visited were exactly to our requirements. The contacts were always made and the Representatives of a very high caliber. We will no doubt return in the future. The highlights were the houseboats and the net fishermen on samudra beach.............





............We have now been back in the harness of normal life for a week, but India is still fresh in our minds. Our trip was so wonderful - thank you very much for the Organization, which was impeccable. We all realize how lucky we were to have Bhawani and Rajesh as companions.............




............I have received a few emails from people considering your service and I have been emailing them glowing reviews about Compass. Please give my email out to anyone looking for an opinion - I'm happy to let email them. I know how frightening it can be planning a trip to a foreign country so hopefully I will be able to put them more at ease. I will talk to you soon............





........We liked our trip and would book with you again if India is our destination. I'm on my way to the store to get lentils and other ingredients for India food. Please tell Nilanjana her cooking class was invaluable to me. I'm proceeding with confidence with a new cuisine for me because of her. Thank you for a good trip to India..............

.......Just a quick response to let you know that I would highly recommend Compass Tours and Durjay for your trip. I found him on the internet and was impressed with his prompt and thorough responses to my questions while planning my trip at short notice (June 2001). I also checked with Cox & King (right name?) but found Compass to be much more price competitive and,even more importantly, able to offer highly personalized service...........
