Arvind
I'm so glad to hear from you.
It has barely been two weeks since India, and it seems like a dream already.
It was a great trip, and I've still yet to unpack all my bags!
Life back in England has continued at its dizzying pace, and I'm not sure
I'm all the way up to speed. I've been getting my pictures developed, and am
working on a little website to document my whole trip. Its sort of a side
project, so I imagine it will take awhile.
Hyderabad was really
great - seeing our friends and a city that is quite modern. Although it was
definitely the end of our holiday journey, it was a great chance to spend
time with a real Indian family. They fed us way too much food though, but
excellent south Indian cooking. By the way, I've read parts of the cookbook
you gave me - thank you so much, it was very thoughtful. I haven't made any
indian food in my own kitchen yet, but I'll fix that soon...I'm thinking of
making 'paneer kebabs' tonight on the barbeque...sound good?
Adin
likes his Kurta Pajamas very much, and has worn them around the house a few
times...the next step is to get him to go to work in London wearing them.
(fat chance)
I've attached a few pictures, and like I said will
share more once my site is up and running. Say hello to Babu (the driver),
Naka and Durjay for me - and tell Durjay I'm working on the
recommendation...
Bye for now!
Kate
